ENGINEERED LININGS

Engineered Linings falls under the Group’s specialised services division. It is a specialist contracting company, which focuses on the supply and installation of geosynthetic lining systems  used  for the containment of liquids and waste, environmental protection and concrete corrosion protection. Typical applications are found in the lining of land fill cells, leachate and wastewater treatment ponds, lining and rehabilitation of potable water reservoirs, floating cover reservoirs, dams, tunnels, concrete pipe protection, evaporation ponds, storage dams, refinery bunds, decorative ponds and water features, canals , irrigation dams in the agricultural sector  and fish ponds in the aquaculture sector. The largest market sector remains in the mining industry where extensive use of linings is found in heap leach pads, tailings storage facilities, process, pregnant and return water storage ponds and in thickener tanks.

Engineered Linings is an ISO 9001: 2008 registered Company with an enviable record of providing innovative solutions for its clients and for completing projects on time and within budget. It boasts extensive international experience, having completed projects throughout Africa and beyond, in countries such as Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Singapore. Engineered Linings’ products are manufactured from premium quality polymers and conform  to all major International standards. They have proven themselves in major, challenging civil engineering  works such as the Lesotho Highlands tunnels, inside the Katse dam wall, large resort-type water features as can be seen at all of our casinos and  numerous other high profile projects .
